The recruitment shall be held in three phases,
Eligibility criteria for the candidates will be determined after the outcome of PET (Physical Efficiency Test). 1500 meter running test will conducted and qualified candidates will be allowed to next stage where, their chest and height will be measure. The candidates fulfilling the prescribed physical standards, will be subjected to other tests.

The exam is of Objective type i.e it consists of Multiple Choice Questions. The exam is conducted for a total of 200 Marks. Duration of the exam is 2 Hours. There will be 200 questions asked from various subjects. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer.
The syllabus for recruitment to the posts of SI(Prosecution ) and Inspector (Prosecution) shall be, Part-I :General Knowledge & Mental ability (30 Marks), Part II : Law (Cr.P.C IPC Evidence Act: Constitution of India, C.P.C and other acts related to RPF/Railways)
