Career in Interior Designing
According to our old proverb "First impression is the best impression" the infrastructure of a place whether it is an office or house makes us to feel comfort. This comfort feeling about a place is the basic idea of Interior Designing. Interior Designing is mingled with creativity and artistic approach. Interior Designing is the organizing the living space in an imaginative splendid manner.
Interior Designing can be done in Home, office, airport, hotels, conference hall, theaters, commercial centers etc. At the beginning the architects were taking care of both exterior and interior designing. At present people are more conscious about their interiors which paved way for the large number of professionals as interior designers.
Interior designing has several areas like Business design, Residential design and landscape designing. Residential design further divides into kitchen and bath designing. So specialise in a particular area enhances the opportunity for the designers. Designer's work includes decoration of walls, floors, roofs, choice and placement of furniture and care should be taken in the other indoor objects. The window screens and lighting of the place also taken care by an interior designer.
Interior design involves a multitude of technical, analytical, creative skills, and understandings of architectural elements. Using Creativity in full fledge promises a bright career in Interior designing. There are various institutes in India who offers detailed courses on interior designing.
Eligibility
Candidates who have passed +2 with 55% aggregate in Maths/Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English can do the Graduate degree which is 4 years Bachelor of fine Arts (BFA) programme offers specialization interior design.
One year diploma course requires very minimal qualification. Qualification required for such courses is SSLC. There are many private institutions offering certificate courses for interior designing,
