Fluid Physics Eligibility
As far as the eligibility conditions of the candidates who intend to pursue Fluid physics are concerned, they must basically have an undergraduate degree (with physics and mathematics). Fluid physics can be studied in the higher educational degrees only. One can pursue MSc programme after an undergraduate degree in general physics or Physics honors from a recognized university.
- The Candidate may have BSc (Life Sc)/BVSc/BSc (Hons) in respective field and also enter as a research scholar or a Fellow Research Assistant.
- It is mandatory for a candidate to acquire proficiency in physics and mathematics at the graduate level and then go for Fluid physics as a specialization or an engineer with a Bench / BE degree, but with aptitude for Fluid physics can also enter the field as a research scholar or a Fellow Research Assistant
- There are lots of research fellowships / scholarships available for the deserving candidates in India and Abroad. A good PhD programme takes minimum of four years to complete.
Fluid Physicists has a wide range of opportunities in weather stations, designing aircraft and in chemical industries. Fluid scientists are employed by large organizations and institutions in abroad to a great extent.
