Selection Process Of Geologists' Examination

The main selection process of the candidates, who successfully qualify in the written examination of Geologists' Examination, depends on the interview / personality test conducted by the UPSC.

The main idea of the interview is to evaluate the candidate's proficiency for the posts for which he has applied-for. Special attention will be paid in the Personality Test to assess the candidate's ability for leadership, initiative and intellectual curiosity, diplomacy and other social qualities, mental and physical energy, powers of practical application, integrity of character and aptitude for adapting themselves to the field life.
