UPSC invites applications for Combined Medical Services Examination 2023 for medicos.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced application for Combined Medical Services Examination 2023 . The examination will be held on 16th July 2023; the last date for submission of application form is 09th May 2023. The application has to be filled online on UPSC’s official website (www.upsc.gov.in).
The candidate should be an MBBS graduate and maximum age limit is 32 years. The examination consist of two parts Part A is Computer Based Examination which has two papers each of 250 marks, Paper I have General Ability, General Medicine and Paediatrics while Paper II consists of Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Preventive & Social Medicine. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer. The candidates have to attempt both the papers in 2 hours each.
The Part B is the Personality Test of 100 marks; a candidate is called for Personality Test on successful passing of Computer Based Examination. The Personality Test conducted to test a candidate’s intellectual curiosity, critical powers of assimilation, balance of judgement and alertness of mind, ability of social cohesion, integrity of character, initiative and capability for leadership.
