HP-CMAT 2010 (Himachal Pradesh – Combined Management Admission test)

HP CMAT is entrance test conducted by IMS Institute of Management Studies Himachal Pradesh. This a common entrance test for admission in Management programs offered by various business institutes and universites affiliated with University of Himachal Pradesh.

The HP-CMAT 2010 conducts for admission for MBA Programme of IMS, HP University, Summerhill, Shimla.
MBA (Agribusiness) programme of Dr. YS Parmar University, Nauni, Solan.
MBA Programme of other Private Institutions affiliated to HP University.

Age limit for HP CMAT
Age limit for all PG Courses is 26 years on the 1st day of July of the year of course.
NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign National candidates/students, and serving/retired defence personnel are the exception for CMAT max age bar. For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes, the upper age limit will be raised by three years.

Eligibility

Bachelor's degree of a university with at least 50 % (45% for SC/ST candidates). Student appearing for final year exam can also apply.

How to Apply

The application form along with prospectus can be obtained either from the institute’s cash counter by depositing Rs.400/- (Subsidized) & Rs.500/- (Subsidized & non-Subsidized) (Rs. 250/- & 350/- for SC/ST candidates) or by post by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.450/- (Subsidized) & Rs.550/- (Subsidized & non-Subsidized) (Rs.300/- & Rs.400/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of “Director, IMS HP University”, payable at Shimla.

Each section will have 50 questions.
After the qualification in test candidate will be called for group discussion and personal interview.
